We offer a fun, safe, warm, fit and healthy atmosphere. All of the good vibe action takes place down at the beach. Below are some of the happening beachside events we organise:
BBQ
Over the duration of the Summer season we programme barbecues on a monthly basis. This is a very social event, widely recognised on the Isle of Wight. Bring your own food and grog and come and chill out on the beach, meet new people, discuss the days watersports. All families are welcome - no cover charge. Bring the pet dog too.
Summer parties
We host some organised parties over the season. They are situated down on the beach. Summer highlights as follows: local hot DJs spinning discs, the barbie will be lit so again this will be a major social event. A lot of people and companies on the Isle of Wight will be attending who all play a part in the watersports sector.
It's a great chance to thank all those who have helped us.
You never know, there may be a few famous windsurfing faces dropping in.
Beach Games
We also run and organise beach cricket / volley-ball / beach frisbee / boules when ever the demand is there.
The Café
Situated next door to the centre, where better to chill out after a hard day in the surf. The café provides a lunch menu of varying sandwiches and fillings and hot drinks can be purchased from early to late (0900 to 1900). There is an inside sitting area and patio where you can watch the action going on.
There is a direct phone line in to the café so if you want to get an up-to-date forecast or surf check, give them a call.
