Brief History
I have been involved within watersports since I was very young, I grew up being very involved with surfing and swimming. I started competing at swimming at local galas then moved quickly on to County and National events achieving high standards of success, this is where my love of the water grew.
As a result of this I then got into competitive surfing again starting at local events then moving onto National level. I have also competed at wave skiing.
I realised that because of my infatuation with the water and life style I wanted to travel and see some of the world and realised that I could travel and work to sustain the life style I wanted to lead.
I have travelled extensively all over the world, competing in surfing and windsurfing contests, through Europe, Spain and Portugal, Scotland, Ireland and many other countries.
A little further a field Tonga, New Zealand, Australia, Barbados, Indonesia enjoying amazing surf and experiencing new cultures.
The rest of my family are all involved within the watersports industry, and two of my brothers are at the fore front of National and International Windsurfing competition namely Ross and Aaran Williams.
Wight Water was originally set up and started by my step Dad and Uncle. There is a full history narrated by Ian Williams on this site. We were all involved at an early age where we were taught all the tricks of the trade etc. I realised that this is what I wanted to do and I thank them all very much for giving me the opportunity to do so.
Through my love of the water and sports which I do, I feel I want to pass on all my experience and knowledge to you so you to can benefit as I have done.
